Active Issues
Google Calendar sync delay
Status: Known, investigating Symptom: After connecting Google Calendar, events may take up to 5 minutes to appear in the Calendar view. Workaround: Tell users to wait a few minutes and manually trigger a sync using the sync button in the Calendar header.
Voice on Firefox
Status: By design (partial support only) Symptom: Dictation may fail or produce no output on Firefox. Live Call does not work at all. Workaround: Direct users to Chrome or Safari.
Limitations (by design)
Interactive page thumbnails are static
INTERACTIVE pages (pages with live JavaScript components like React or animations) render as static markup in the card thumbnail preview. This is intentional — the thumbnail runs in a locked-down sandbox. The full page renders correctly when opened.
Listener requires explicit permission per session
The Listener microphone permission must be granted on each new browser session due to browser security policies. This is not a bug — it’s expected behaviour.
Memory recall is contextual, not exhaustive
Your companion surfaces the most relevant memories for the current conversation — not all memories. If a user says “you forgot about X,” ask them to mention X directly in their message so the companion can retrieve it.
Brain content is read-only for the companion
Your companion can read Brain content but cannot edit or delete documents inside a Brain. To update Brain content, the user must go to the Brains page directly.
