Privacy & Your Data

This article is a plain-language summary. The Privacy Policy is the full, authoritative version — where the two differ, the Privacy Policy wins.

  • Account information — email, display name, profile photo
  • Conversation content — messages, voice transcripts, notes, tasks, and pages you create
  • Listener sessions — audio, transcripts, and any screen captures taken during a session you started
  • Calendar and email data — only if you explicitly connect Google, and revocable at any time

The Listener is always started by you. BlinkLife does not capture ambient audio without you starting a session.

Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform, encrypted in transit and at rest. Our processors operate in the United States and the EU — the Privacy Policy lists them in full.

Your companion builds a memory from your conversations — facts, preferences, goals, and context — and uses it to personalise responses and stay continuous between sessions.

Open Memory in the sidebar to browse, search, and export what’s been stored. See How AI Memory works.

Settings → Privacy & Data has two separate controls:

  • Auto-capture memories — whether your companion learns from your conversations at all
  • Listener memory extraction — whether it learns from what is said during Listener sessions specifically

Turning either off stops new memories being created. It does not delete memories already stored — you can delete those individually from your memory timeline, or ask us to.

Go to Settings → Privacy & Data to request account deletion. You’ll be asked to confirm before anything is permanently removed.

For any data-related request — export, correction, or deletion under GDPR or CCPA — contact us at privacy@blinklife.com.
