Messaging channelConnecting Telegram turns a Telegram bot you own into your companion’s presence on Telegram. Once connected, messaging that bot is just like chatting in BlinkLife — with full access to your tools (create tasks, send emails, and more).
Connecting Telegram
Section titled “Connecting Telegram”You’ll create a bot with Telegram’s official @BotFather, then paste its token into BlinkLife.
- In Telegram, open a chat with @BotFather and send
/newbot. - Follow the prompts to name your bot. BotFather replies with a token that looks like
123456789:ABCdef.... - In BlinkLife, go to Settings → Connections → Telegram and paste the token.
- Click Connect. BlinkLife validates the token and activates the bot.
Settings and what they mean for you
Section titled “Settings and what they mean for you”Telegram is intentionally simple — there’s nothing to configure beyond connecting.
- Bot token — the only thing you enter. It’s masked like a password, because anyone with it could control your bot. BlinkLife stores it securely; you never need to see it again.
- Connection status — once connected, the card shows Connected via @your_bot_username so you can confirm it’s the right bot.
Unlike WhatsApp, Telegram has no approved-contacts list and no message limits. Messages to your bot are treated as coming from you, with full tool access — so keep your bot private to you.
Disconnecting
Section titled “Disconnecting”Open the Telegram card in Settings → Connections and click Disconnect (you’ll be asked to confirm). Your companion stops responding on that bot right away.
