Connecting Google Docs lets your companion turn its work into real Google Docs — meeting notes, drafts, summaries — saved straight to your Google Drive.
Connecting Google Docs
Section titled “Connecting Google Docs”- Go to Settings → Connections and find the Google Docs card.
- Click Connect. The note explains that access is limited to docs your companion creates.
- Approve the permissions on Google’s sign-in screen.
- You’re returned to BlinkLife and the Permissions & Settings panel opens automatically.
Permissions and what they mean for you
Section titled “Permissions and what they mean for you”| Permission | Default | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Create Docs | On | Your companion can create new Google Docs in your Drive. |
| Edit Its Docs | On | Your companion can keep editing the docs it created — for example to add to a running notes file. It still can’t touch your other files. |
There’s no delete permission — your companion can’t remove documents.
Docs autonomy mode
Section titled “Docs autonomy mode”- Confirm First (default) — your companion shows you a preview before creating or editing a doc.
- Full Auto — your companion creates and edits its docs on its own.
Disconnecting
