Google Calendar

Connecting Google Calendar lets your companion see your schedule and, if you allow it, create and manage events for you. Your events also power the Calendar app and your daily briefing inside BlinkLife.

  1. Go to Settings → Connections and find the Google Calendar card.
  2. Click Connect and read the short note about what access you’re granting.
  3. Approve the permissions on Google’s sign-in screen.
  4. You’re returned to BlinkLife and the Permissions & Settings panel opens automatically.

Each permission is an independent on/off switch.

Permission Default What it means for you
View Events On Your companion can list and read your events — so it can answer “what’s on tomorrow?” and add events to your briefing. This is read-only.
Create & Edit Events Off Your companion can schedule new events and change existing ones. Off by default so it can’t alter your calendar until you allow it.
Delete Events Off Your companion can remove events from your calendar.

This decides how your companion handles changes to your calendar. It only applies once you’ve allowed Create & Edit or Delete.

  • Confirm First (default) — your companion asks before creating, changing, or removing any event.
  • Full Auto — your companion manages your calendar on its own, without asking.

Once connected, you can ask your companion things like:

“Check my schedule for tomorrow” “Block 2–3 PM on Friday for deep work”

For the in-app Calendar views (Today / Week / Month) and meeting briefs, see the Calendar feature guide.

Open the Google Calendar card in Settings → Connections and click Disconnect. Your companion will no longer see or change your events.
